I was short since the SEC news, and I covered on Friday.
A 9% drop is about 2+ SD's from the average daily volatility,
so I covered, and banked the gain.
I will short again on a bounce. Thoughts?

tbh i thought it would bounce back quick since the charges are BS.

however friday's reaction made me realize this could be a serious problem for their client base from a CYA standpoint. if the govt really pushes this we could see a bear stearns scenario unfold, so i might buy some super OTM puts.

more likely scenario is they struck a deal with the O man to take some heat to get his bill thru in exchange for some nice loopholes and options dating. Tongue out

I checked with Captain Pike, http://captainpikeknowsall.com/index.php.

Your question: Will Goldman be punished?
The Captain's answer: 2 beep (No)
