I am looking for a diff tool for PDF documents. Tools like diffpdf won't do the job since they compare word by word or letter by letter. Usually I have documents where a whole section has been inserted, before and after that section the document remains unchanged. I want to see the new section highlighted, not the remaining stuff. If there is a difference in the existing sections I want to see that, too, of course Wink.

There are similar tools for diffing code under Unix but these work only for plain text afaik.

Any suggestions ?

Hi Cheng,

-t.

the only reason it would be easier to program in C is that you can't easily express complex problems in C, so you don't. -comp.lang.lisp

Tristan,

I use DiffPDF (without the "-") in the meanwhile. Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the hint btw.
