I'm going to have a follow up chat with a credit sructurer.

What sort of questions will allow me to get the bottom of whether it's a good desk and they know what they're doing?

The beauty of structuring as a role is the flexibility that it can offer.

I think what is important is that you have an idea of what you want to do and see if it fits with what the bank has made available to you.
