How deep is the BTC options market? I thought deribit is the only venue and that looks pretty illiquid, IMHO

Depth is not THAT deep, but option prices look pretty smooth.
They plan to introduce perpetual on ETH.

Right now I see Open interest Jan19 ATM options at 1800 contracts / puts ~200.

Last 2 weeks there was no much activity (NY and XMas), now it is picking up again.

They have telegram channel https://t.me/deribit . Good support.

Quedex is less liquid

Just looked at it. I am not impressed TBH but for someone retail-sized this might be a great place to make markets (especially considering the fragmented nature of the exchanges etc).
