Unfortunately I missed the last dinner, however will be in NY from the 18th-24th. I was wondering if anyone would be up for drinks? I suspect that the weekend would be best for most. |

I can probably make drinks on any day except the 19th but don't let me stop everybody else from setting it on the 19th |

I'll be there too |
I don't interest myself in 'why?'. I think more often in terms of 'when?'...sometimes 'where?'. And always how much?' |

Yeah, let's do friday night - milk and honey might be a bit small for the amount of interest we have going here. |

So I spoke with London about it and it looks like we're doing gingerman roughly @ 6 PM tomorrow. I'll send out an evite to the people who have expressed interest in this thread. Otherwise see you guys there!

re secret handshake: I seem to remember, and this is going back 8 or maybe even 9 years, Aaron or Espen holding a printout of black-scholes at the entrance to the back room at gingerman. |

I sent ast4 an email for the password to get in the backroom. I don't expect to see anyone willing to hold a copy of Black-Scholes at the door these days :) |

I advice not doing how I did for my first NP meeting, at that very same place:
-assume a banker waiting for friends would stand out of the crowd so I would spot him easily. -then look at everybody with an interrogative look saying "are you chiral3?". I bet half of the guys thought I was looking for my blind gay date. -then assume you can just call him, as it is so noisy people don't even hear their mobile ringing.
I finally manage though. |

Guys, Its much easier to have a common question, e.g "are you here for John's birthday?" no embarrassment if wrong group. |
