Hi

I want to get my python programming more to a deliver standard. are there any book(s) which can help me make the transition. At the moment my code is quite dirty as is my overall knowledge of programming. It is better than most traders at banks but I want to get it higher

Have a read of PEP8, the 'official' style guide.

https://www.python.org/dev/peps/pep-0008/

There's another good one about the use of doc strings, but following PEP8 will dramatically improve how professional your code looks.
